NYPD Officers

What a blessing to meet and talk with the great Men and Women of the NYPD. These folks are working long hours out of their Precincts or Burroughs. Some are working 12 hours and some are working 16 hours, I don’t know if they are getting to choose their hours or not.

A couple of the Officers I talked to were Transit Police who worked on the subway system in the Bronx. They were young men, about the same age as my son who just finished Police Academy. They were a blessing to get to talk to for a while. These two officers stood by while we passed out clothing to the folks of Rockaways, New York.
