In between visits with our Politicians in Washington D.C. we were able to visit with Troops and Police.
During our lunch break Kim and I ran into General Hoyer and General Buckalew. General Hoyer is the Commander of the West Virginia National Guard. These two officers were in D.C. to talk to the Politicians on behalf of their National Guard troops.
They were both very personable with us as we talked with them for a little while. Gave them each a Badges & Boots tract and talked to them about the Lord. We are hoping they also get our information out to their Chaplains and that we can possibly visit them in the near future.
Please pray for our National Guard Troops as they deploy to help in the fight on terrorism.

In a effort to be fair and balanced, I have worked with both of these men. General Buckalew is a nice guy who was usually supportive of the guys out there on the front line. I will let my lack of comments about General Hoyer describe my feelings towards him and his leadership.

No, I only had the pleasure of meeting these two men. They were very cordial with us.
