Every day you put yourself in harm’s way to protect the citizens. Many days you feel unappreciated and like no one cares. We care and appreciate your service to this Country and your community.

 

God cares for you. He loves you and can protect you from physical harm. He also wants to provide you a way to escape spiritual harm.

 

The solution is Jesus Christ! What will you do with the Savior of the world? Will you reject him and spend eternity in Hell or will you accept him as your Savior and spend eternity in Heaven?

 

It’s your choice! God already made his choice; he wants you in Heaven with him. If you reject Jesus as your Savior you are telling God that you do not want Heaven as your home.

 

Here is how you can know 100% sure that Heaven will be your home at the end of your life.

 

1. We must all admit that we have sinned against God.

 

Romans 3:23  “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

 

Some folks have told me that they have never sinned. Have you ever told a lie? What about when that salesman called your house and you answered the phone. They asked for you and you said, “Oh, he is not here right now!”

Have you ever committed adultery?  You might say, “I have never lain with another man’s wife.”  But have you ever lusted after her and daydreamed about having her? Here is what Jesus has to say about that.

 

Matthew 5:28 “ But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”

So we see the Bible is true, we are all sinners. Jesus is the solution!

 

2. We must realize there is a penalty for our sin.
Romans 6:23  “For the wages of sin is death…”

 

“Well, everybody dies”, is what one man said to me. The death the Bible is talking about here is not the physical death of the body, but the spiritual death that alienates us from God, which causes us to spend eternity in the torments of Hell.

 Revelation 20:14  “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”

 

3. We must realize that we have a solution to our sin problem given to us by God as a gift.
Romans 6:23  “… but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

 

 

Eternal life is the gift given to you by God. A gift is not earned; it is given freely by someone that loves you. Jesus Christ is the only Person that will give you access to Heaven.

Acts 4:12  “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

 

4. We must repent of our sins, ask Jesus to forgive us and to save our souls.

A.  Acts 3:19  “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out…”

 

Repent means that you truly regret and are sorry for the sins that you have committed against God.

 

B.  Romans 10:9-10  “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  (10)  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13  “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

 

God has shown his remarkable and unmistakable love for you by providing a way for you to come to Heaven with him.

Now! It is your decision time! You can choose Heaven by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior or you can choose Hell by simply ignoring the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
