(Isaiah 9:6)  For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

(Luke 2:10)  And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
(Luke 2:11)  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

 

God preserved these wonderful words of joyful tidings in the Holy Bible, so all future generations could have the account of Jesus Christ the Messiah and his birth. The way to pardon and peace with God was born in a manger that day. This babe in the manger would be the path to salvation for Jew and Gentile.  Salvation will bring you the greatest joy known to man.
